F dotted quarter note, B flat eighth note, A quarter note, dotted eighth
note rest, E sixteenth note.
F dotted quarter note, B flat eighth note, C quarter note, B natural
quarter note, C whole note.
N.B. The dotted eighth note rest is equivalent to one and a half eighth
notes, or 3 sixteenth notes, so we need another sixteenth note to make it
up to one quarter note value.
N.B. If there is a sharp or flat before the note, then
that note is the same (sharpened or flattened) throughout that measure.
(Unless a natural has been put in later in the measure.) At the next
measure, we start again, and the note is normal. You have to remember that
the notes have sharps (or flats) through the measure.
